Architecture & Building Design
Architecture Design, in our opinion, reflects the cultural pursuits of the society in which it happens and as designers we have to develop innovative ideas in a sensible and sensitive manner. After all, whenever we look back in history and study the culture of ancient civilisations, we first look at the ideas that shaped their hamlets, villages, towns & cities.
Most buildings developed today are commissioned by a different set of people and used by a different set as its inhabitants. Apart from these people, each building also belongs to its neighborhood, the city where it is built and its people. While (as Architects) we have to do justice to the aspirations of the developers, we also have to do justice to the expectations of prospecitive inhabitants and to the collective pursuits of the society to which it belongs.
