Landscape Design
At UDC, we look beyond the pre-conceived notion that Landscape Design deals with the beautification or greening of unbuilt areas.
We believe that Landscape Design deals with the (deeper) understanding of the natural setting, topography, climate, hydrology, the flora & fauna.
Each place has its own unique character. We firmly believe that natural cycles and elements should at least be preserved if not enhanced.
Landscape design should facilitate a dialogue between the built and the unbuilt. It should attempt improvement of the micro-climate by utilization of the natural resources. And at the same time, it should create visually, physically & psychologically pleasing indoor as well as outdoor spaces for people.
